Budget Wedding Ceremony on a Tiny Budget: So how much does it cost?

Let’s be honest about it.  Weddings are expensive things.  It may even be the most expensive day of your life.

This is why, along with my completely bespoke ceremonies,  I have a ‘basic wedding ceremony’ option. Yes, most of my ceremonies are lavish, personal pieces of work that take hours and that is where the expense lies. I have created another option, which is made up of pre-written, customisable elements for those of you who have less to spend, but still want to have input into your own magical day.  You will still have a personal ceremony, it may not be as long as the fully-created wedding, but I will still give you help with writing your own vows and choosing the music and readings. All this for less than it costs to have the registrar out.

Having a celebrant led wedding also lets you save in other areas:

  • Consider an evening wedding with no need for a separate evening reception.
  • What about an unusual venue?  What about getting married in your own home?
  • What about getting married at a festival? All of the party atmosphere with no need to pay any more for the entertainment?
  • What about a themed wedding – 1940s wartime for simple food and a village-hall venue?

If you need any more advice on cheaper wedding ideas,  I suggest a visit here: is well worth a visit for all sorts of things.
