Seaside Weddings

Is a seaside wedding something you’ve always dreamed of? Does standing on the sand while you say your vows describe your idea of your ideal wedding day?

Britain has some beautiful coastlines, beaches with pebbles and sand, stunning views as the backdrop to your ceremony.

Here are a few things to remember when you are planning your seaside wedding ceremony:

  • You will need a wedding celebrant, as beaches are not allowed as licensed venues under British law.
  • Think about where you will relocate to in the event of rain/high winds.
  • Wear suitable wedding shoes for the occasion.
  • Beaches are public places, so you might want to track down a private cove.
